I’m very big into House music and want to start mixing/scratching my own music. I’ve been told that I need TWO Cd turntables (because this way I can burn my own music…versus using more difficult vinyl to scratch with), A good mixer or synthisizer between the two mixers, Probably good music/mixing program for my computer, headphones, speakers, etc…Any Dj’s (preferably House, trance, techno Dj’s) that could give their suggestions to the most necessary accessories needed to start DJing my own parties? I’m looking to spend no more then $2500 to start off. If i’m not mistaken, I think I can get pretty solid system for that kind of money…Maybe also some suggestions on the cheapest place online to buy this Dj equipment…Thank You all SOOOO MUCH, I can’t thank you all enough! Best always!

I bought HP laptop 4gb ram… nVidia video card, but things are still freezing when i am trying to mix videos, then 5 month-old hardrive crashes.
So, i am looking for help before i invest any more money into the new one.

I just got audacity and was wondering in case there is way to make mixes like the dj’s do.
For example when they fade in one song after the other. I know that scratching can not be done because one would need turntable. Also, is there anyway to beatmatch with audacity?
If so, let me know please.
